BASSETERRE, St. Kitts (May 17, 2008) – The Royal St. Kitts Hotel & Casino scored big last night with the successful launching of De Lime Beach Bar and Grill at Frigate Bay.
With an outdoor double level deck over-looking the ocean and a cool lounge area, it proved to be the ‘de lime’ last evening with hundreds turning up to the opening night.
Professional chefs grilled up sumptuous lobsters, Mahi-Mahi and chicken adding rice, vegetables, green salads and French fries to create mouth watering meals.
The bartenders were kept busy serving various alcoholic concoctions and brews to the many tourists and locals who flocked to the beach-front location.
Public Relations head for Royal St. Kitts Hotel Valencia Grant told SKNVibes.com that she was “ecstatic” about the night’s turn out.
“People have been pouring in since we opened up earlier today and everyone seems to be enjoying themselves. De Lime offers both the casual beach hangout and an upscale lounge at one location. We hope to keep this momentum going,” Grant articulated.
Patrons also expressed their views on the new hang-out, giving it high marks and emphatic ‘thumbs up’.
Prime Minister Hon. Denzil Douglas also took a gander at De Lime, and was seemingly impressed with the place as he made the rounds greeting fellow patrons.
De Lime will open daily at 10:00a.m., featuring a DJ from 9:00p.m., a Beach Bonfire Party on Wednesday, Live Entertainment on Friday, and Volleyball and Fashion Shows on Sunday.
